Collection: 5. Litha

Litha, the Midsummer solstice celebration, heralds the peak of summer's brilliance, honors the sun at its zenith and nature's abundant vitality. It's a joyous festival marked by vibrant festivities, bonfires, and feasting, symbolizing themes of sun worship, nature's bounty, balance, fertility, and community.

Although the two festivals have similar traditions, Beltane represents the beginning of summer while Litha is the peak. Participants revel in the longest day, celebrating the sun's power, the Earth's abundance, and the interconnectedness of all life, fostering a deep connection to nature's rhythms and cycles.

Also known as St.John's day, St. John's Wort (Hypericum perforatum), sunflowers and other yellow blooms are used in celebrations.
