Traditional celebrations honor the natural world's awakening with fire. In Celtic festivals, flowers and offerings for the fae were left on doorsteps and dairies. Yellow and white flowers such as primrose, rowan, hawthorn, gorse, hazel, and marsh marigold are used to represent fire and the sun.
